Measuring of health status of a community, assess health care needs, appropriate allocation of resources are changing over time. However, they are only indication and reflection of a given situation. But if measurement is over a longer period of time to look at the trends, they indicate the direction and speed of change and help at the same time to compare different areas and groups.
